Homemade Beauty


Shinny hair: 1 cup of apple juice + 1 cup of pear juice + 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar. If liquids aren't at room temperature, microwave the mixture for 10 seconds to take the chill off (it will feel better). Shampoo, pour treatment on hair and let it soak in for one to three minutes. Rinse, the condition.

Soft hands and feet: 4 tbsp organic cold-pressed sunflower oil + 1/4 cup blueberries = 1 cup of heavy cream. Whip ingredients in blender for 30 seconds. Pour mixture in bowl large enough to submerge feet or hands; massage creamy concoction into skin for 30 seconds. Leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Healthy Hair:
1/2 banana + 1/4 cup plain yogurt. In blender, whip the banana and yogurt until they have a smoothielike texture (about 45 seconds). Work the mask into wet hair, wrap a wet towel around your head and let mask soak for 10 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and style! Add a few drops of vanilla or lavender essential oil to de-stress while you wait!
