Product Review Yala

I love Yala! I'm just OBSESSED with my new Bamboo Dreams® Midara Print Bedding in Ash/ Pumice! Inspired by traditional Moroccan tiles, this 300 thread count printed bedding is available in two distinct designs. What's also fabulous about them is that the more you use them, the more you wash them, the softer they become.

Product Review Primavera

Europeans have long coveted PRIMAVERA face, body, wellness and home fragrance products for their effective, natural formulas, based on pure essential oils, seed oils (which contain the essence of plant life, fully sustained through PRIMAVERA's gentle method of cold pressing), base oils and plant extracts. After testing the Moisturizing Neroli Cassis line for myself I understand why PRIMAVERA is so loved.

bodygoodies

I'm so excited to share with you my latest find! When I was on my trip back east to help my grandma I wandered into the cutest little shop called bodygoodies. Immediately when I walked in the door I was welcomed with the most lovely scents you could imagine. Luckily for me, I had a chance to talk to the owner Heidi who chatted with me about how bodygoodies came about and why these handmade, natural, eco-friendly, soaps and lotions rock!!! bodygoodies started a few years ago in a journey to find a way to cut out the chemicals absorbed topically through our skin to our bodies internally. From using everyday products such as shampoo, body lotion, and soap, our skin soaks in those hormone-altering preservatives, harmful chemicals and unnecessary ingredients--which is not acceptable at bodygoodies. Heidi's own battles with skin irration, dryness and sensitivity to products helped inspire her to create her own line of soaps. She discovered so many everyday products contain some pretty scary stuff. Heidi knew this could not possibly be healthy, so she took on an all natural lifestyle a few years back and it has changed her life and the way she makes her products. At bodygoodies, the look of the soap is just as important and unique as the scent and feel of it. Since, soaps are handmade, every soap is a piece of art. Another thing you might notice is that bodygoodies does NOT use cheap filler oils. This makes a huge difference in the quality of soap, from how long it lasts in the shower, to how much you skin will thank you for it. bodygoodies only uses the best ingredients they can find, such as all natural shea butter, mango butter, and jojoba. Their soaps stand out because they don't cut corners at ANY cost. In the bodygoodies lineup, there are 100% organic bars and there are bars that have fragrance oils. Although their fragrance oils are always naturally-derived, they are altered; therefore bodygoodies does not claim them to be organic. Visit the shop here!

Today's post focuses on ways to give back to your community! Recently, I had the opportunity to nurse my grandmother back to health. Spending time taking care of my grandmother is a memory that I will cherish forever. It really got me thinking about how we all need or will need a helping hand at some point in our lives. Being able to help my grandmother was truly rewarding experience and I've realized that I would like to continue helping others. Here is some information on how you can take part by giving back to your community! xoxo Wendy Find volunteer opportunities in your local community using Volunteer Match.
